Our client is a world leading manufacturer of detection systems for commercial and industrial applications who currently have a permanent opportunity for an Electronic Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

You will require the following Skills & Experience:-

* Degree in Physics or Electronics with relevant experience. * Have good electronics skills for robust design. * Familiarity with simulation tools to ensure compliance with design specification limits. * Knowledge of “Assembler” and “C”.

Your Roles & responsibilities will include:-

* The design of Firmware modules for microcontrollers. For use within electronic circuits for AV signalling and emergency lighting devices. * Work alongside the product development teams. Software / Hardware testing is conducted. * Production of design specifications from criteria.

The hours of work are 40 per week and the salary is up to £35k per annum. The company also offers a range of great benefits including contributory pension scheme, healthcare package, free parking and a share scheme after one year service.
