My client is a precision engineering company based in the Fareham area; they are currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller/Turner to join their team. Our client is a sub-contract engineering company who manufacture high quality products for various industries including Oil & Gas, Aviation and Motorsport.

They are well established and extremely successful; they offer stability and opportunities for progression or training.

The role will be paying around £12 to £14 per hour for an experienced, skilled CNC Programmer; they have a salary review structure in place as well as training programmes. The basic hours will be circa 40+ hours per week and there is often plenty of overtime available. CNC Setters with sufficient experience will also be considered for this role. There is free parking onsite or it is accessible train station

The suitable candidate will have:-

Proven experience within a sub-contract precision engineering company

Previous and recent experience of programming/setting CNC Mills/Lathes

Competent using Heidenhain and Fanuc controls to program and/or set from drawings

You must be able to program efficiently without supervision

Applicants who do not live within a reasonable commuting distance of Fareham/Southampton must be willing to relocate to the area.
