Our client is an established Engineering company based in Southampton who is currently looking for an experienced Manual Engineer to join their team.

This is a Permanent position with an hourly rate of around £12 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on Fridays, 39 hours per week with overtime sometimes available. Small to medium company.

Requirements and Experience

Skilled manual machinist (manual milling, manual turning, etc)

Would suit skilled manual engineers or toolmakers (manual)

Good centre lathe, milling and boring experience

Experience of mechanical fitting and knowledge of fitting practices would be advantageous

Strong precision engineering background

Ideally apprentice served
