We are working with an International, mechanical biased manufacturer supplying the aviation industry to recruit an Inventory Planner.

The role…

The salary is up to £30'000 per annum depending on experience plus a good range of benefits including flexible working hours, shopping discount schemes, 25 days holiday, contributory pension scheme, free parking, subsidised canteen, and child care vouchers. Using data from client and internal departments to plan inventory requirements and place orders to replenish as need Monitoring demands from customers, reacting to shortages and chasing logistics, suppliers, moving inventory etc. Monitoring company's supply chain performance for parts and recording in Key Performance Indicators Discussing and challenging the KPIs with customer Updating registers of customer assets as units move and are replaced.

Working with manufacturers and suppliers within the UK and abroad

Requirements…

Experience in inventory planning with a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of MRP and SAP

Good working knowledge of Excel

A background in aviation, aerospace or

Experience dealing/working with the MOD

Be able to read an illustrated Parts Catalogue

Prepared to travel within the UK - will need a driving licence
