HR Associate - £22-24k - Southampton - Permanent
My client is a leading technology provider and global leader in their field. Being at the forefront of design, quality and value is part of what makes their business stand out.
As a HR Associate you will help provide HR assistance and guidance to HR and other Managers within the organisation. You will manage all the internal systems and procedures to a level that enables the successful running of the HR operation
Key responsibilities will include:-
·To advise all managers in their area of responsibility on all aspects of employee relations, training and development, resourcing, compensation and benefits, and to provide assistance and advice where appropriate.
·Assist managers with any employee relation issues and be the first point of contact for all disciplinary & grievance matters within each of the Business Units.
·Manage the recruitment and selection process of new staff; assisting with the preparation of job descriptions, interviewing and advising on suitability of candidates to fill all vacancies in strict adherence to policy, procedure and budget.
·Design and facilitate the delivery of a comprehensive induction programme for permanent and temporary staff, with special regard to Health and Safety training and security.
·Design and deliver internal training programmes and facilitating all training requirements including identifying venues, course set-up and breakdown, joining instructions, review forms and feedback; seeking approval from the Director of HR and HR Manager for all course costs to ensure cost efficient use of the training budget.
·Carry out Return to Work interviews with line managers / supervisors.
·Carry out Exit Interviews with leaving employees and pass relevant feedback to the Management team.
As an ideal candidate you will possess the following:-
·Good working knowledge of UK employment law and recruitment best practice.
·Ability to design and deliver training programmes.
·Experience of recruiting for a variety of roles from senior management to general associate.
·Proven experience in an HR environment at advisor level.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills.
·Computer literacy and ability to become system administrator for the HR database.
