We are recruiting for factory line leaders on behalf of a prestigious client in the Fareham area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large successful company which prides itself upon family values and being part of a team. The successful applicants will be responsible for managing a production team ensuring targets are met by leading a team and driving Standard Operating Procedures to meet Customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and lead a team of Associates on a production line ensuring a positive culture is maintained.
  • To ensure that all production lines run with a maximum efficiency and interruptions are dealt with a minimum impact for the customer.
  • To ensure that all paperwork is completed to meet legal requirements and that relevant systems are maintained, including, Traceability, Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, ERP.
  • To ensure that all Associates receive the appropriate training to enable a balanced and multi-skilled workforce to effectively meet hourly production schedules.
  • To track and monitor wastage and production volumes.
  • To complete daily and hourly communication to provide progress checks and production changes when necessary.
  • To actively identify improvement opportunities and efficiencies and assist in implement these changes.
  • Conduct Associate training.
  • Drive and encourage an engaged workforce.
  • Ensure customer audit standards are maintained.
  • Any other duties that the Company deem suitable as necessary.

Experience & Education:

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing acquired over a period of time.

Functional Requirements:

  • Excellent Leadership and Communication skills
  • To work on own initiative whilst in a team environment
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise
  • Competent using Microsoft Office packages
  • Strong influencing skills to be able to manage 'down' as well as 'up'
  • Customer focused

Hours of Work:

Monday – Friday (Week 1) 06:00 – 14:00 and (Week 2) 14:00-22:00 on a rotating shift pattern.
