About you

Location: Fareham, Hampshire

Basic Salary: £17500 - £20000 basic (OTE £44k realistic)

Salary is based on skills and experience.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Monday 10.00am - 8.00pm

Tuesday - Thursday 10.00am - 7.00pm

Friday 10.00am - 6.00pm

Holidays: 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays

Primary Responsibility

Inbound customer service/sales. Once the customer has chosen the insurance policy that they want it is your job to complete the lifestyle and medical questions with them over the telephone and arrange the start date of their policy.


Key Tasks

Work alongside a team of Sales Executives / Account Managers & speak to the customers after the Initial contact has been made and commitment from the customer given.
Complete customer applications. This includes asking them for bank details, medical information and questions about their lifestyle.

You will put this information into an insurance company extranet.
Use sales skills to finalise the sale of insurance ensuring the customer understands the next steps involved in moving their policy forward and building instant rapport.


The Ideal Candidate

Will need to have previous experience in working on the telephones and can build an instant rapport with a customer.

Will have excellent customer service skills and enjoy talking to others.

Will have the confidence to close a sale or influence others.
