We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a highly successful global manufacturer at their site in Segensworth. This company predominantly supply to the aerospace industry, are floated on the stock market and hold a prestigious stance in the industry.

Reporting into the Quality Manager, this role requires a highly driven and robust Quality Engineer who has gained experience within the Aerospace industry. Essentially the successful candidate will be driving improvements within quality promoting and ensuring affective relationships with customers and suppliers are continually reinforced.

MAIN DUTIES:

* Ensure product compliance in line with customers’ requirements. * Analyse, adapt and continuously improve the companies quality / business systems in line with business development. * To carry out QA representation at design review activities, and ensure that QA contribute to the quality and success of all new designs. * To carry out all defect investigation activities, determine and analyse defect investigation data gathered, and ensure that root cause corrective actions are put in place to stop reoccurrence. * To participate in Continuous Improvement activity as determined by business needs.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

* At least a HNC in engineering or significant experience within AS Quality Engineering * Relevant experience gained within an aerospace environment * Driven, robust and confident to liase with  internal engineers as well as externally * Ideally hold a recognised quality qualification * Track record of success * Well versed with quality management tools and techniques, SPC, FMEA and problem solving tools.
