Highways Maintenance Operative
Location: Southampton - Duration: Temp-perm

An opportunity has arisen for a Highways Maintenance Operative to work flexibly in a team carrying out general highways maintenance work across Southampton. These duties must be performed in line with our client's ethos and expectations. All work must be completed in accordance with the contracts specification, Current Health safety and environmental legislation aiming to ensure our client's priority targets are achieved. A strong Health and Safety and high quality focus are a must.

Working as part of a team you will be involved in a range of outdoor duties which will include
Reactive and planned maintenance on highway assets Producing high quality work
Ensuring that BBLP H+S Policies and Procedures are adhered to at all times
Skills/Experience

NRSWA - mandatory
CSCS – mandatory
Full driving license preferred
LGV – Preferred but not essential
Winter Maintenance experience is preferred
Must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in practical outdoor work
SSSTS preferable

We are ideally looking for candidates who have supervisory experience, however candidates who have a strong highways background will be considered.
