Bond Williams Accounting & Finance are recruiting a Financial Controller for a highly successful and growing IT service company based in Hampshire.

This is a new role reporting to the Managing Director and would be responsible for overseeing the finance and operations functions including a small team of 6. Specific responsibilities would be to oversee all transactional functions, prepare monthly management and year end accounts, VAT returns, budgeting, forecasting and other ad hoc reporting as required. In addition, you would also oversee the procurement and warehousing functions which would also include monitoring of margins, delivery costs and other overheads.

You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with a min of 3 years PQE, together with the motivation and interest to understand the business to not only to manage finances and controls but also to offer new ideas, spot trends and generally be proactive to assist with growth. Previous experience within IT services would be an advantage but not essential. An excellent package is on offer which would include company car, private health, bonus, pension and life assurance.
