HR Officer - Totton - c£23k - 6 month FTC

Due to a period of change there is a requirement for an HR Officer to join this highly reputable organisation for an initial period of 6 months. As HR Officer you will work in conjunction with the HR Manager to ensure the effective operation of the Human Resource function and to provide specialist HR advice and guidance to management according to approved organisation policies.

Specific Duties will include:-
Employee Relations/Policies and Procedures
·To assist the HR Manager in providing support and give general advice to the senior management team on all aspects of employment terms and conditions
·To provide support and give general advice to staff and managers on all aspects of employment terms and conditions and employee relations, e.g. absence management, disciplinary, grievance or capability
·To assist the HR Manager in the management of Staff Development
·To assist the HR Manager in the review and development of organisation Policies and Procedures

HR Management Information
·To assist in providing appropriate HR and workforce performance reports and associated analysis/HR solutions/initiatives
·To ensure the efficient maintenance of personnel records, both manual and electronic, for new and existing staff
·To provide personnel information for payroll changes

Recruitment & Selection
·To provide support to the HR Assistant with the recruitment of new staff
·To assist with the organisation and delivery of the new staff induction programme

As a term of your employment you may be required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required of you, commensurate with your grade, at any of the organisation sites.
