We are working with an international, mechanical biased manufacturer supplying the aviation industry to recruit a Technical Support Representative who would be responsible for providing technical support to the Field Representatives with regards to the Military side of the business.

Provide technical support to the Field Sales Representatives with regards to the Military side of their business

Liaise with customers and projects teams

Define work scope to meet the customer demands

Provide support to Military activities and provide guidance to field reps in the maintenance of Technical documents in line with the customer requirements,

Review quotations and technical reports – carry out gap analysis between Technical Reports and Quotations Review work scopes/technical reports and proposals Discuss field operations rejection reports produced Technically review documentation Discuss rejection reports produced by field reps Actively contribute towards improving and challenging existing criteria’s, techniques and documentation Identify future component repair schemes. Some travel around the UK and occasionally France

Requirements

You will need to have an aviation/military engineering background with hands on, mechanical engineering experience

Able to carry out technical evaluations, review technical documentation

Able to prioritise own workload

Some commercial experience/knowledge would be an advantage, or experience working directly with clients.

Experience of running or managing projects would be ideal You must be very well organised, a flexible team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Being able to work under pressure and within time constraints is essential
