We have an excellent opportunity to join an international manufacturing company, who are looking for an experience manual machinist with experience in injection moulding. This is a permanent position and is based in New Milton. Our client offers a relaxed working environment with a large degree of autonomy, working as part of a small, friendly team. The site is very modern and clean with good ventilation (light and airy) and central heating.

This role would suit someone who is looking for a local role within a large, well established company and a great working environment. Due to the nature of the role being geared more towards repair and modifications, there is not usually overtime available. Salary is £26000 to £28000 per annum; however, this may be negotiable depending on experience. Successful candidates will need the following skills and experience:-

• Experienced with manual lathes and mills
• Able to read technical drawings
• Competent using measuring equipment
• Must be a good team player
• Must have ability to work outside of the box and work unsupervised
• Candidates will need good communication skills
• AutoCAD knowledge would be an advantage
• Manufacture or modify production parts according technical drawings
