Are you immediately available and looking for an Accounts position that can utilise your existing skills? We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant for a large Manufacturing company near Fareham. This role will initially be on a contract basis until the end of July but could go permanent for the right candidate. You will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller and you will be responsible for assisting the existing accounts team.

The company designs and manufactures specialist filtration components and assemblies for the aerospace and defence industries and in 2015 the company received The Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade Award – the UK's highest accolade for business success so you really will be working for the best in the industry.

What will you be doing?

• Purchase Ledger (Invoices and Matching)

• Speaking to Creditors

• Accounting for Accruals & Prepayments

• Ensuring GII and GRNI is in order

• Updating the orderbook

• Handling any task as assigned by the Financial ControllerWhat will you get out of it?

The salary for this role is circa £18000-23000 (according to experience).
