We are recruiting for a Technical Support Manager to work on the Military operations of a globally recognised aerospace/aviation company. You'll have the responsibility for providing the UK MOD with technical customer support for the RTM322 gas turbine engine managing a team of 6 field reps and 1 service engineer. Based onsite in their HQ on the South Coast of Hampshire, as the technical expert you'll be working with the Navy at commander level so you'll be confident and holding strong communication skills.

What do I need? A deep comprehension of gas turbine engines including failure modes, design strategies, maintenance strategies etc. Experience and knowledge of techniques such as FMECA & Weibull Analysis. As a leading position you'll have experience of managing other engineers and providing technical support to customers. Ideally an aeronautical relating degree would be preferred and gas turbine knowledge within helicopter engines would be great!
What about the character fit? As a senior position representing the brand you'll be confident at senior level, self driven, keen to always achieve delivery and representing the brand positively at all times. You'll head the company's technical meetings and prove clarity and progress reports to customers so communicated technically and clearly is vital.

They will put you through training abroad, safety management training, formal training on the relating gas turbine engine and you'll be consistently developed to remain on top of all engineering developments.
