Inbound Sales Agent

Do you have experience of working within a fast paced call centre environment? Do you pride yourself on your Customer Service skills? If so then this may be the role for you!

We are working alongside a large, respected Insurance Company based in Southampton. They currently have 13,000 customers and are rapidly expanding! With 50 staff members at present they are expected to reach 150 by October.

What will you be doing?

You will be joining a large friendly sales team where you will be responsible for your own individual sales targets. You will be carrying out both inbound and outbound calls to customers (no cold calling!) assisting them with their insurance needs and advising them of the best possible policies. You will be working closely to FCA guidelines and making sure you adhere to the Treating Customers Fairly guide.

Your Key Responsibilities will include -

• Achieving your personal sales target set to you based around income, quote levels and quality.
• Managing your own diary and error issues to ensure all customers are kept up to date at all times and queries are resolves.
• Attending daily meetings with your team to discuss progress and targets for the day.
• Understanding all procedures in place surrounding Data protection and FCA regulations.
• Ensuring you abide by all processes within the staff handbook.

The ideal candidate –

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer service as well as 1 year's previous experience dealing with a high level of inbound calls within a call centre. They should be confident when speaking to a wide range of people over the phone and have the ability to deal with confrontational calls. Insurance experience is not necessary however would be a benefit. You will need to be confident with Microsoft packages and have a positive attitude to learning new skills.

What will you get out of it?

The salary for this role is £16,000 with an OTE of up to £26,000. You will receive a monthly bonus if your targets are met. You will receive 22 days holiday + bank holidays. The company provide a pension scheme and once you have passed your probation there are opportunities for you to achieve professional qualifications.

The hours of this role are Mon – Friday 8.50am – 5.30pm with a 1 in 4 Saturday shift 9am – 1pm.
