DEAN OF CREATIVE AND CULTURAL INDUSTRIES

The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries brings together a unique blend of creative disciplines which include architecture, creative technologies, film, animation, fashion, performing arts, design and media.

The Faculty has around 3,100 students and a developing research culture with strong industry and community links. Following a £20m investment, the faculty moved into two new buildings which provide cutting-edge resources alongside exciting exhibition, creative and performance spaces which extend the University’s already significant contribution to the cultural life of the city. 

As an experienced leader in a relevant academic discipline, you will demonstrate strategic thinking and a commitment to an exceptional student experience underpinned by high impact research and innovation.

As a member of the University Executive Board, reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, you will have a good understanding of the higher education sector, with a track record of success in a senior role. An ability to develop and articulate a clear and inspiring vision for the Faculty which supports the University Strategy will be essential.
