The University of Portsmouth is embarking on an exciting journey of ambitious change as part of our new University Strategy. Information Services will play a key strategic role along with colleagues from across the University.

We are seeking an experienced manager to join our Application & Client Services team to lead in the implementation of new services and support existing systems.  

The Application & Client Services team develops and manages an extensive estate of desktop PCs and laptops using Microsoft Windows and associated products.  The team is also responsible for packaging and distributing PC software, software licensing and interfacing with line of business applications.

You will be an experienced leader, in particular with regard to technical teams, with excellent people management skills and a desire to innovate and develop services, ideally utilizing products and services in the Microsoft ecosystem.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with a strong track record in building, leading and developing teams.
