An exciting opportunity exists within our busy Application Development and Maintenance team for a proactive Web Developer with experience of software development.

You will develop and maintain new and existing web-based applications and interfaces between the University’s core business and teaching systems. 

You will carry out analysis, design, development and testing and produce supporting documentation giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a stimulating, rapidly changing environment.

Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) you will be able to demonstrate good problem solving skills and provide outstanding service to our customers.

The correct candidate for this role will:        

o   Have strong skills in Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript

o   Have good knowledge of systems analysis

o   Be able to organise / prioritise workloads.

o   Have good analytical / problem solving / troubleshooting skills.

o   Be an excellent communicator.

o   Be flexible, reliable, efficient, self motivated
