For over 30 years, the Air Traffic Services team at the Goodwood Aerodrome have maintained an enviable reputation for quality and high standard of air traffic services.
 
We are looking to recruit a full time Aerodrome Flight Information Services Officer (AFISO) to provide information useful for the effective, safe and efficient conduct of flights using Goodwood Aerodrome and the associated air traffic zone.
 
The ideal candidate will be passionate about aviation, be able to work under pressure with the ability to work in a small team.  Applicants must have, or be capable of attaining, a Flight Information Services Officer licence, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  You will be proficient in MS Office packages and ideally have experience of working in a safety critical environment. Previous experience of working at a UK CAA licensed aerodrome and/or a PPL would be advantageous.
 
The hours of work are 40 hours per week average (2080hrs p.a.) on a shift basis. Start and finishing times will be aligned with operational hours of the Aerodrome and will, from time to time, include evening work, particularly during the major events at Goodwood. Therefore applicants must have the ability to work flexibly. 
 
Due to the rural location of the Goodwood Estate, own or reliable transport is essential.
