Apprenticeship Pay Rate: GBP 5.00 per hour

The Flying Bull Academy is an academy in the heart of Portsmouth, proud of our caring ethos and striving to support our children to achieve their full potential.

As a new Apprentice you will join our expert team in the Early Years department working with the Nursery Class Teacher to provide support to individuals and small groups of pupils in the classroom. You will contribute to planning and preparation of indoor and outdoor learning environments and resources that create a safe, vibrant, fun and engaging environment for learning.

Your role as an Apprentice Nursery Nurse will be a very busy and rewarding. With the ability to learn and follow detailed instructions from the Nursery Class Teacher, you will build good relationships with pupils and colleagues. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and independently putting the needs of the pupils first.

You will receive training from the School and attend College one day a week as part of the Apprenticeship programme.
