We are recruiting a Management Accountant to be responsible for providing financial and business information, direction and advice to assist assigned budget holders and senior managers. Working within a small team of Management Accountants, you will have responsibility for the production of financial information for annual budget, quarterly forecasts and five year plans to assigned departments. You will aim to deliver continuous improvement in financial performance aligned with the academic mission of the University.

Applicants must have a pro-active approach to work, and demonstrable interpersonal skills that enable them to liaise and build relationships effectively with staff at all levels, including senior managers.

A track record of influencing business decisions and delivering solutions to financial and business problems is essential together with first rate analytical and problem solving capabilities. Good management accounting experience is essential, and applicants should ideally be a qualified accountant with a CCAB recognised body, or making significant progress towards completing your studies.

This post is part time 22.2 hrs (3 days) per week, please include your preferred work pattern in your application.
