Niche manufacturer experiencing huge growth and a full order book, requires a Financial Controller. Due to the expansion of the business that will see turnover double over a two-year period, the role necessitates a qualified accountant with a skill-set encompassing strong technical accounting and people skills. Specific responsibilities include:
Development of project based accounting from tender through to project delivery;
Implementation of robust cash flow reporting and management;
Introducing a budgeting and forecasting process which is aligned across all areas of the business;
Provide business KPI and management reporting packs along with quality commentary on business performance;
Develop the skills and capabilities of small accounting team.
This role would suit either a CIMA Qualified from a manufacturing background or an ACA/ACCA practice leaver with 2+ years post qualification, looking for their first role in industry. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen, strong man management skills and excellent analytical ability.
