My client is a high volume manufacturer who currently have a permanent requirement for a Materials Preparation Technician to work nightshift (Mon-Fri  9pm-5am).

The successful applicant will have previous manufacturing experience.

 

Attention to detail and accuracy are imperative for this position. 

 

No particular level of education is required and full training will be provided, however you will require experience in a similar role. 

 

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high degree of responsibility in their previous roles. 

 

This role will be required to work with minimal supervision.

 

The key task of this role will be to prepare materials used in production using the relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Master Formula and Manufacturing Directions.          

 

You will also be responsible for:-

 

§         bar code labelling of raw materials

§         use of balances

§         handling chemicals

§         use of pumping equipment

§         washing up
