A FTSE 100 in Colchester are currently in the process of rapid growth through mergers and acquisitions and are now looking for an experienced Assistant Corporate Tax Manager to join their global team in a supervisory and technically challenging role.

What impact will you be making?

As a motivated and career-driven Corporate Tax specialist, the role offers you the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge with a selection of UK and international work, merger and acquisition projects, and tax reporting.Day to day tasks include:

  • Supervising a small team of tax accountants
  • Work on selected specialist projects within the tax department, including the identification of new systems and processes to implement
  • Preparation and allocation of UK and international corporate tax returns
  • Involved in M&A tax projects and providing advice to the group
  • Responsible for the monthly group tax management reporting reconciliations
  • Reviewing EMEA VAT returns in accordance with statutory deadlines
  • Preparation and completion of draft tax disclosures in UK statutory financial statements
