Farm Food Sales & Distribution Manager

Goodwood Home Farm is at the heart of our estate, producing high-quality, sustainable food with true provenance.

We’re looking for a Farm Food Sales & Distribution Manager to drive the growth of our wholesale and retail operation. This is a dynamic and hands-on role, combining sales, account management, and logistics, where you’ll play a key part in expanding our customer base and ensuring our products reach customers efficiently.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of our Farm Food offering while working within a passionate and collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take the lead on developing sales and strengthening customer relationships, including:

  • Growing wholesale and Farm Shop retail sales
  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Maintaining strong customer communications and follow-up activity
  • Supporting product development, merchandising, and retail performance

Alongside this, you’ll oversee key operational areas:

  • Managing delivery logistics and leading the delivery team
  • Reviewing and improving delivery routes for efficiency and profitability
  • Taking ownership of milk vending operations and future expansion
  • Supporting accurate order processing, reporting, and revenue tracking
  • Producing regular sales reports and performance insights
  • Ensuring compliance with traceability and legislative requirements

You’ll also support the wider team during peak times, events, and holidays, helping to keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll bring

  • Prior experience in sales, account management, retail, or customer service is desirable
  • Confidence managing customer relationships and driving business growth
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance commercial thinking with operational delivery
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel, and relevant systems
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a collaborative mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships
  • An interest in food, farming, or high-quality produce
