If you're a qualified tax professional looking for a new challenge then this role will certainly keep you busy! As Tax Project Manager, you'll be joining a FTSE 100 business based in their Colchester (Essex) office initially on a two year fixed term contract. The global Tax & Compliance team are responsible for the preparation and filing of indirect and direct tax filings, statutory account filings and treasury back office functions. And they're busy!

As you'd expect in a global market leading business, there are numerous projects running at any one time. This is where you come in. In this key role you will effectively be the facilitator between the project team and the Tax & Compliance team.

About You

There is the opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects and initiatives, be that M&A related, internal restructures or system changes. Its paramount that you'll enjoy working in an agile and change environment and be willing to be hands-on, make improvements and be able to adapt to a changing workflow.

The brief will be to 'get out and get known' by working in a visible global role, communicating and building relationships across the organisation providing key information business partners, external stakeholders and Group functions.

What you'll need

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
• First class communication and presentation skills
• Highly organised, diligent with attention to detail and the ability to maintain these skills whilst working under pressure
• Happy working with minimal supervision but also in a team environment
• Advanced in Excel with SAP and Oracle experience advantageous
