Junior Auditor (Medical)

This is an excellent opportunity with and attractive package for someone with a medical quality assurance background to further develop their career within the medical industry, ultimately to lead auditor status, by providing technical support to a busy and friendly team of medical device auditors.

The job will be based at my clients Head Office in Fareham in Hampshire, and will involve the auditing of clients' products and systems at their premises throughout the UK and internationally, the technical administration of audits, and the collation of reports in accordance with company procedures. You will assist lead auditors in ensuring compliance with regulatory and voluntary standards, assisting clients to maximise the value and effectiveness of their quality management system.

Essential Candidate Requirements:
Degree qualified in a scientific subject, (ideally Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiology or Medical Engineering)

Previous work experience in:
The medical device industry (more than 3 years)
Quality assurance within a company manufacturing medical devices (more than 2 years)

Good knowledge of the Medical Devices Directives and ISO13485 standards
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Willing to travel throughout the UK and overseas.
Desirable Candidate Requirements:

Product Expertise in a class IIb or III non-active medical devices or experience in the testing of active medical devices
Audit experience in quality management systems and medical device regulations
IRCA registered
Fluency in a second European language
