Companies in Southampton have been asked to apply for funding through the next stage of the "Bridging the Gap" government scheme.
An additional £2,000,000 was announced today by the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) at the Marriott Hotel, Portsmouth.
The funding will be granted by the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership to businesses across the Portsmouth and Southampton district in order to help bring improve growth and importantly increase the number of jobs in our area.
"It’s about building on the success of the scheme so far. A total of 567 jobs have been created or safeguarded in the local area." said Caroline Dinenage, MP for Gosport.
"It gives businesses the opportunity to create the jobs and the prosperity that our region needs."
